Default new to the site

hey everybody i'm new to the site and i wanted to introduce myself, my name is brian but every body calls me hammy, i have a '68 mustang coupe with a 200 ci inline six and have plans to put a 302 in it and i hope to get some help/suggestions on that. im a student at san diego state, but my home is in bakersfield, ca. thanks.

Good looking car man, you have to get that 302 in there ASAP Welcome to the forum. Take a look in the Classic Mustangs page they can give you all the help/suggestions you need.

Nice car, welcome.
Since you are starting from scratch on the motor, have you thought about trying to wedge a 351 in there?

thanks for all the compliments, i thought about the 351 but its a financial issue and the 302 is less expensive for me, disadvantage of being a college student, plus i have big plans for that 302, just goin to take some time, im thinkin aluminum gt40 heads and a 331 stroker kit eventually[sm=smiley4.gif]

If you are starting with nothing, the cost is not much different. If you already have 5.0 parts then I understand. If you are building a real "romper stomper" then you will spend money on the 5.0 that you will not have to spend on the 351, (i.e. main girdle, 1/2" head studs)
