I know this is a ways off still (and a little bit of a drive), but I'm thinking of making a weekend of it and hitting up the CJ Pony Parts Customer Appreciation Day on 8/11 and then driving out to the AM Mustang Show on 8/12.

I tell ya waht, give some details on your plans. I am looking for a weekend out and this may do it but I need planning. OK, my wife needs planning. Point is, shes the f'ing boss so, planning it is.

Wifes....mine told me I spend too much time at home so she's excited I'm thinking of doing this...anyways..

So I was thinking heading out on 8/10, swinging by my buddy's place in Warren (if his wife lets him) to pick him up, then heading out to Harrisburg or somewhere close. hit up a few bars that night if people are interested, then off to CJ the next morning. after the show drive to the Media area (discount rates here: http://cwp.marriott.com/phlgv/americanmusclecarshow/ but haven't really looked around yet if there are better rates) for more bars, then off to AM the next morning. they are about 90 miles apart but figured why not since i'm already this far. haven't decided if staying overnight on the 12th or driving back that night.

feel free to throw your 2 cents in...not a set in stone plan

Where are you at? What will be your starting point I guess is what I'm asking. If we were to leave on a Friday, mine would be Cincinnati... travelling up 71 to Columbus and then 70 out to Harrisburg.

I'm in Medina...just off 71, but a long ways out of your way. I would be going 76 basically the whole way. looks like 70 and 76 merge in New Stanton PA. possible meet up there and cruise the rest of the way in

leave Saturday come home Monday? AM show only? I could wrap my head around that just fine.

i still may be up for the CJ one on saturday since its on the way to AM. maybe swing by on the way up saturday and catch a couple hours of it on the way to the AM show.
