Default wix filters

I was thinking of changing to Amsoil, but what filter would suffice for 35,000 miles.

I want to use the wix filter, would that be sufficient?

Just trying to save a few dollars here thats all.

I would run a wix 7,500 miles 10 k at the most.
Amsoil is the only one that I know of with a long change interval filter , and that being 1 year 25,000 miles,( on some cars)
I don't think there is a filter rated for 35,000 miles unless its some crazy sized remote filter or something like that.

Listen to Shady.

Unless you are running an AMSOIL remote bypass oil filter setup, you will never see a 35,000 mile interval from an oil filter. There is a guy on the BITOG forums with a Honda S2000 running 35-40K oil change intervals using a remote bypass filter system, and he has the UOAs to prove it.

AMSOIL Remote Bypass Filter Systems

If you want an oil filter to go in place of your normal filter, and you really want to save money, choose an AMSOIL EaO filter. They are built for most cars and are rated up to 25,000 miles of service. You can thank the Nano Fiber technology for that.

The EaO11 filter fits all 2V, 3V, and 4V Ford modular engines.
