Default Open Test Day @ Buttonwillow

Saturday was my 4th time out. i made it to the afternoon session.
my car is a street legal 90 Mustang with some good suspension, tiresand brakes.
there were only 3 or 4 other cars that i saw that were street cars. the others were all purpose built for racing.
it was somewhat worriesome at first. i talked to a driver that was loading up, and got some good advice. the track boss also was helpful, but the first few laps out there with cars & drivers that were so superior to me and mine were interesting to say the least.
nothing scary happened to me or any cars because of me. that was a good thing!
i'm glad i went. it was good experience, but for a while longer i think i will be looking more to events like HPDE where i will be driving with simlar equipment. seems it would be easier to evaluate my and my car's performance.
i am getting smoother, hopefully that translates into speed.
comments or suggestions?
