After I backed out on you, I got to thinking.... have you considered using the Dupli Color Black Chrome paint on these? I would strongly consider it! According to some of the people who have raved about it on their site, you can apply multiple coats to get it to the level of black you are looking for. I bet with about 6 coats you could get these to the level of black you are looking for... and still have the shine of the chrome. They would be awesome! The best part is, the Duplicolor stuff comes with clear, so it has a strong finish (unlike regular paint).
I was going to do this until I realized I needed an 18" lighter wheel for the autocross I will be doing. I think these would be awesome! 19's are the perfect size and these look good on your car.

BTW, It's not actually paint..... it's actually referred to as a chrome "shadow" you apply over the existing chrome.... so you actually have to have chrome wheels to begin with (no need to strip or ruff them up, just clean them... which you have already done).
