Default LT + mid pipe question

hey all,
im looking for a long tube header + catted mid pipe combo that will best compliment the steeda catback system on my 00 gt. i love the deep throaty sound i have and do not want to loose that. i am also worried about clearence as im dropped approx 2in and i hear that x pipes sit lower then h pipes w/ long tubes, but do not know for fact.

comments, suggestions, ideas, and free money welcome

Thanks!

LTs sit low but there is a few guys on here that have there car lowered and are fine.
i think they have mac LTs. uhh if you wanna go a cheeper rought go mac LTs and a pro chamber. you can go bbk or hooker. id go withe the same mid pipe as the headers. just my opinion.

I'm lowered 1.5" and have BBK LT's and BBK Offroad X
Clearance is not an issue.
It does sit a little lower tho.
But LONG TUBES are VERY worth it.

I have mine lowered 1.5 in the front and 1.6 in the rear and every now and then I will get a small rub. Here is a pic of how low my headers set.

04mustang - i agree. i would like to keep them the same if i can.

Obsol3te - i agree they are definitely worth it - how are the bbk's holding up?

jdaniel - Thanks for the pic. that doesn't look to much lower then my stock cats are now. - how are the mac lt's holding up? i remember you and MD saying they were starting to deteriorate a bit.

nomo - emissions, i dont feel like swapping cats in when she needs to be tested, and a set of high flow cats would be much better then the four dogs i have now.

true. im not sure if anyone makes catted shortys? you might have to buy some high flow cats and weld them in yourself

The SLP pipe is aweomse, you can make it catted or not w/ ease as well as use the same pipe for LT's or St's....... It's.... MODULAR!
