Hey guys, and gals,
just put flowmaster 40 series mufflers with a bassani x pipe (no cats) on my car, VERY RASPY, apparently this is from the chambered mufflers. Who makes a good exhaust i can put on my 5 spd 00 GT and not get a raspy sound. i dont need the loudest. I hear dynomax are very loud. I just want it to sound good and powerful with no Rasp, or minimal because right now is excessive and annoying. thanks in advance.

X-pipes have the strange ability to add at least a little rasp to anything. Id just change out that bastard of a midpipe youve got and keep the flows.

Yeah... definetly go get some Magnaflows or Magnapacks. I did the same thing you did and it was loud but not deep at all. Sounds like a baby rattle under there. LOL

Whats wrong with the Bassani X? Get different mufflers and you wont have that sound. I have a good deep tone to mine. LOL

I have an MRT h pipe with 2 chamber flows and it sounds like a 60's muscle car. Seen and heard all the exhausts you can, and IMO nothing beats my setup...
