As far as Ebay goes.
I think it's an awesome place to buy parts. You can get some really good deals. My buddy bought a tranny, clutch, and flywheel off of Ebay and we're installing it all this weekend and this is not the first time he's gotten car parts off of it. I know lots of people who have gotten auto parts there. Hell, I bought my car off of Ebay. It's just like with anything else...you gotta be a smart consumer. Look for sellers with tons of positive feedback. Email some of the people who have purchased from the seller and see how they feel about the transaction. There are great deals to be had.

it's here it's here!!! it's chillin my garage. i say chillin cause it's supposed to get cold tonight. anyway, gonna go to one of the many local garages and see what they'll charge to put it in. what would you say is a good price for it? at what point should i just stick my foot up their exhaust and say no thank you?

just dropped off my car. they quoted me only $70 to get that pig installed. probably give them an even $80. the lowest quote next to them i had was $100, and that was from a "good" friend.

why not buy from e-bay?.....alot of great parts at good price for good people.....me I'm a tight *** on $$$$$ more I save more I can do to my cars...for 1k here is what I got for my car

if u do shop ebay just be smart about it... check feedback and everything.. i have bought good things off there in the past... buncha car stuff... but just recently (3 days ago) i got screwed on a pair of headlights i bought off of there...they didnt fit right at all and the guy didnt wanna gimme my $$$ back, or a new product. well joke is on him, i called the better business bureau
