Default Blow off valve

I was wondering before I get a turbo kit can I get a blow off valve , and put it on the car to hear the cool sound? , and no im not a ricer nor do i have a big body kit on my mustang. I just happen to love that sound. If so how much would they cost? Thanx

If you're not a ricer, why are you trying to put a BOV on a N/A car?

FWIW yes you can get one, and you can put one on, but it would require a lot of work. You could possibly use your AC compressor to generate pressure and then have some sort of switch to release it when you lift your foot.

Or you could hit up a rice website and buy one of the electronic BOV sound making devices.

This is about as neat as the guy who wanted to install a nitrous purge kit on his car, just to purge the n2o and look cool. <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">

Nah , I'm getting the turbo kit at the end of the month , I was just curious if i could get the blow off valve before hand just to hear the sound whileI shifted. No I'm anything but a ricer I've owned a Trans Am and now the mustang both cars are nowhere near ricer.

the blowoff valve simulator kit thingie goes for about 140 or so.

dude when did i ever say i raced one? pls tell me i said i "owned one" , , and yes my old Trans Am with the A4 transmission would run all over the mustang until i get the full turbo kit. NO IM NOT A RICER

Jeep - sometimes when people say they 'owned' something, it means they lawfuly gained the title to it through the use of money.


And yes, they've been selling the BOV simulators for quite some time. I have yet to see one on the street.
