okay i have nittos 245/45/17 dr on 12lbs, short shifter, 3.90 gears, prochamber and the list below of mods, and i cant seem to get in the 13's. So im coming to my last resort i thought i would ever come to...NITROUS (i mean you cant go wrong there or can you?) Its just that i dont have all the money in the world to spend on mods that arent getting me anywhere. Good nitrous kit=800 compared to what i have spent already to get a 1 tenth better et. So i was just wondering how safe is it really? Did some reading on it and it seems to me if you have a good tune and window switch or WOT and dont abuse the nitrous like a 200 shot...your car should be good. It is a 2004 and warranty is gone as you can tell so i dont care i just want to beat my cousins ls1 1 time! DAMN! Any info would be great before i make my decision o yeah and ive thought about the supercharger just not affordable at the moment. Thanks in advance.

I cant believe you are not in the 13's with the drs and 3.90 s, intake and exhaust work you list. Where is your track and hows your driving, you powershifting that thing? If you want to go N2O go with a 100 shot wet kit its safe and should give you 1 second in the 1/4. Give us some more info like 60 foot times and trap speed we can tell you whats going on but you should be in the 13s!!
