Throttle microswitch install

Throttle microswitch install
I have read two options in installing the throttle microswitch; 1 being on the TB and the other below the throttle inside the car.
How have you guys been doing it? I think on the TB seems to be the best options. Thoughts?

RE: Throttle microswitch nstall
I have been trying to figure out how to mount it on the TB, but I can't make heads or tails ... Anyone have a pic of their mounting?
I am working with a NOS Snyper generic kit, so I don't know if a Mustang specific kit would bring a specific bracket to mount.
Any ideas?
I found this pic online, it looks like the bent the bracket. I just printed a copy. I am going to see if I can simulate this install on my GT.

I had to slightly bend my bracket and I have a kit for the cobra and everything. You have the rgiht spot with that bolt, have someone push the gas pedal to the floor and install the switch so its fully depressed by the TB lever. Dont be afraid to bend or fabricate, not everything has to be perfect.

I installed the EXACT same kit on my 97 cobra. That's where I put the microswitch as well. Just bend it over and down, works just fine.

Did you ever post your install?

Yeah, I posted my install on one of your original threads regarding this kit. I put the microswitch on the TB bolt and bent it down and twisted it. That bracket can be twisted and turned just about anyway you want it.
