Default I want a quiet exhaust. How?

I currently have a 2000 procharged v6.My exhaust iso/r h and flowmaster 40's. I really love the sound of my procharger and want a quiet exhaust. How should i do this? resonators? what mufflers are quiet but dont restrict performance too much?

I thought resonators were made specifically to create noise... Seriously though, why would you want a quiter exhaust system? Wtf is wrong with you?

Get a catted H-Pipe and put in some Magnaflow mufflers. They are quiet, sound good and are made of stainless steel

Well I have a V8, and if you mean resonators as in replacing the mufflers, like the SLP Loudmouth catback, I would guess you'd have a similiar effect on the V6 as it had on my GT. It screams. But anyway, I second NoGo95GT. If nothing else, get some converters in there.

Yea, thats what i think i will do. (put converters on). How much will it restrict flow if i use stock ones off of a gt?

Really. U want quiet, go back with stock pipes. That would be the best way to have a quiet exhaust.

my stock exhaust is a y-pipe and that is VERY restrictive on a 300hp car

Hmm. I mean take off the resonators and get some small tips is what i could imagine. I mean are you trying to hide the sound of the supercharger or the exhaust? Are you trying to make it a sleeper?
