Talking Oh yeah! Getting my Kenne Bell next Week!!

So after 2 years of planning on getting a kenne bell and saving up the money the time has come, Talked to my mechanics and the bank and I will be ordering the new 2.1 Big Bore Kenne Bell tomorrow. I know that the kits come with everything you need to install and you need to get one step colder spark plugs but is there anything else I need to know when installing the S/C or anything else I need to buy?

I have installed everything else on my car and although I am so excited to get the S/C I am also getting worried about the install! from what I heard is that they give you awesome instructions and its pretty much just like changing the intake manifold. I also read that the chip they give you works great and you don't need to go out and get it dino tuned.

My car has 30k miles on it and it is a 04, is there anything else I should do after I install the s/c or before? I know the under drive pulleys need to come off.

I am new to this S/C and want to do it right
Thanks for the feedback,
Chris

does it come with a bigger fuel pump and injectors?
(if you get bigger injectors, youll need a MAF that's set up to them)

should be just like a intake swap, never worked on the 4.6's but i cant imagine them being harder then on the 5.0's.

what kind of airfilter will you be using? kenne bell recommends a "true" cold air intake, if you have a intake that sucks hot air from the engine bay, you must change this.

good luck with your build, id like to hear how it feels, and sounds afterwords!

the kit comes with the boost a pump, 36lb injectors which are good for around 480-500hp. the kenne bell chip is pretty good thats what i have right now with 10lb pulley. i suggest getting their cool air kit with the 90mm maf and switch chip. with 9lb pulley and their setup you will be anywhere from 385-405rwhp which i really good considering its a mail order tune. dude it is alot of fun so enjoy!!

Make sure you get the car dyno tuned. The canned tunes/chips are usually not going to give you the best results. Good Luck!
