Default can low bottle pressure take longer to purge

Was testing my low fuel pressure cut off switch today and it was a little cooler i did not use the heater and when i purged after i turned the bottle on it took maybe 4 or 5 sec to go to white smoke so i then jumped on it and it hit but not very hard so again i purged and again took a few seconds to purge this was weird to me cause it usually purges right away after i do it once. So again i get on it and again it hits maybe a little more but i actually had to turn it off and step on it just to make sure that it was working. Only had 50 shot in it but it usually a pretty hard hit. Any ideas? thanks

Sounds like the bottle pressure is down. The colder temps along with what I'll bet is a 1/2 full or so bottle is going to be an issue. Do you have a pressure gauge and/or a pressure controlled heater?

You were probably down around 650 psi which means reduced power and a lot of gas in the bottle. Get the gauge hooked up and a bottle heater that uses a pressure switch to regulate the element rather than a thermostat.
