i have 100 nx plate system that i have on a switch that i hit when i am at 3k or over and for some reason it pulls like hell till around 5k and it feel like it looses some power, it feels like maybe it drops 25 or more hp. i have new filter new svt focus pump and tr-6 plugs gapped at 44. any one know why this may happen?

What mods do you have? Man this has me worried. Dieing at 5 grand , dosent sound good. I will be installing a ZEX wet 100 shot next month. Keep me posted.

sounds like you may not be getting enough fuel

did you change your fuel filter? i would also try upgrading the fuel pump

and is your bottle pressure around 950-1050?

01snake, he said he has the focus fuel pump and new filter. so this is not the issue. Even on a stock pump he should have enough flow. do you purge the line before you spray? otherwise you may have air in the line or you may be puddling.

How is your tune set up???? Did you get a dyno tune/ and 02 readings??? I would take a look at your dyno sheet/af and see if that gives you any clues.

the bottle pressure was low it was below 900 and i have not put it on a dyno and had any sort of tune yet..I know that is bad i am going to get one very soon.

maybe your running out of spark.

try upgrading your coil, and id get it on the dyno to see what its doing also.

this morning i tried to see what happens if i stay on the bottle till 6200 and at 5k it dropped like it always has but around 5200 or maybe 5300 it was back to nomal just for a sec it dropped. I really need to get on the dyno. I think that it may be the bottle pressure being between 8 and 9k psi.

do you have a bottle heater?

like i said get that PSI from 900-1050 and spray it and see what happens

stop spraying until you get a tune... You are obviously bouncing off the AFR charts one way or the other. Get tune and reap the benefits.
