Yep, I got that sound too from an offroad H pipe. And an offroad X pipe too.....and a stock H with the cats cut off. I dont know what it is from, but I am used to it now.

It is from the chambered Slowmasters. I had the same problem when I installed my O/R X pipe with the 2 chambers Slows and it was awful. I exchanged the mufflers for high flow Spintechs and now the sound is terrific, awsome!!!!!!!1

It sounds like your specific X-pipe has a problem with it. If you like the X-pipe you should look into a different brand. For some reason BBK has some trouble with their off-road X-pipes. Their H-pipes on the other hand are exceptional.

OK i installed my bbk off road x pipe with the slp lm1 and it still has that pinging sound to it...this is the 3rd setup ive tried with the o/r x and they have all had that same rattleing sound...is it because its not catted?..or do i need to just go ahead and buy a o/r h-pipe?

I haven't had any problem with my BBK X. I don't think it has quite the build quality of other pipes, but it was allso hella cheaper.
