I use Fast Wax for my chrome and metal stuff on my car. It is actually made for the body parts but you can spray it on your rims or pipes to give em a thin wax coat so road dirt and brke dust and all those chemicals from road salts wont stick to as much and makes em easier to cleam. Go to Wal-Mart or something and get a can of it and just use it whenver you cleam your car and i bet you than it helps.
