Default question about nitrous

somebody told me this on a different chat site and can anyone tell me iftheinfo about the differnt kinds and how effectice they are and suffis true are what??? </P>

<FONT size=2>do not get zex
the 125 shot will give u 80 rwhp
an nx 125 shot will give u 125rwhp +/- 2%

zex is safe because the power levels are so hyped up its unbelievable, i sell nitrous express and can get u a kit for $475+tax, thats about $510 total, thats even cheaper than zex

even if u dont by from me, dont get zex, i have installed a zex kit on a 97gt, used the 75shot, could barely tell when i was on or off the nitrous, it was weak

run a 75-100 shot of NX on ur car, u can run the 75 shot completey stock
run the 100 with a higher volume fuel pump just to be safe, dont want to run lean, and maybe take some timing out of the motor with timing adjustersm again just to be safe, but u could probably run a 100 shot and be fine for a while

Default question about nitrous

I'd choose NX over Zex. They have a better reputation, and more people that I've seen use NX. Plus, it looks to me like they have higher quality equipment.

Default question about nitrous

zex has a really bad rep. go wit NOS or edlebrock. these companies have been around a lot longer and have researched and tuned their nitrous systems to give you the best power gains and reliability possible. nitrous is a very BIG responsibility and you want to go wit the most reliable one even if it cost u 100-200 more. good luck

Default question about nitrous

I've used a ZEX kit on my 91. Ran 2 bottles. Worked just fine. People are just brand loyal. I've read several articles that have dyno'd the ZEX kit. Same power as the other kits. I would be concerned using a wet set up injecting fuel into the upper manifold plenum. Every failure/explosion I've heard of was a wet set up behind the throttle body. The back cylinders are notorious for running lean. Just so know as well, ZEX is owned by Comp Cams. Not exactly new to the game.

Default question about nitrous

you could feel the difference in 10 or 20 hp...that guy is an assclown or exaggerating. 75 wheel hp is still a massive difference. (oops...it would probably be closer to 40-50 judging by his theory...still a big difference)<edited><editID>Jugador</editID><editDate>37931.7906365741</editDate></edited>
