Turbo will make the most power hands down. Your right about it costing nearly twice as much and not lasting nearly as long without maintenance. I had a procharger and loved it. All I ever did was change the oil in it and replaced a seal myself once. If money is not an issue I'd go with the turbo. If it is then I'd get a supercharger.
time and paitence for a turbo, ALOT more work for the prepping and install. hope your quite the handyman/mechanic if going that route, i researched both pretty hard, just didn't have the time and money to go that way, so now my procharger is in my closet :-( waiting for a fuel pump, injectors, maf, fuel lines, and another forged motor

Are you buying or building the kit? If you're building it, personally I prefer building turbo kits. If you're buying it the s/c is the easier by far. As far as maintaining, I don't find them difficult or very time consuming at all. Change the oil on time & let it sit for a few seconds before shutting it off (or buy a turbo timer) to prevent coking. It won't fail from that instantly if you don't, that's more of over a long period of time type thing. Those are the two major things different between the two.
