nitrous tuned?
was driving home and pulled up to an 99-04 mustang and he asked to run it, i said sure. he asked me what i had i told him basically stock. he says nevermind? Me, confused, asks what do you have and he tells me a bottle and something about being spray tuned? i don't get it why doesn't he run me just without the bottle .. ?

Or maybe he thought you weren't worth his time since you were stock. Maybe he thought it was a blown Roush, which in some cases could possibly be a decent run with a 75-100 shot new edge gt.

i think a "blown" roush woulda taken him for a ride nitrous or not.. how much hp does 75-100 shot of nitrous give? i know NOTHING about nitrous.. and if he's so badass he shoulda just ran me without the bottle!!

You might be surprised. What's a stock 05-09 blown Roush pull to the wheels, maybe 380-400? The average 99-04 gt with a 100 shot is probably around 350 to wheels with far more torque than the Roush, and probably 300-400 lbs lighter. Of course it all depends, but i'm just saying...
The thing with nitrous cars is that they will outrun most blown cars (all else being equal of course) even if the blown ride has a few more peak hp.
It's hard to beat instant tq and hp with no parasitic loses, and no heat soak.

no... he was a douche
even a foxbody being much less computer contolled still needs to be tuned a certain way for nitrous. less timing , more octane, both........
the car isnt noticibly slower that way, so thats why i said he was a douche. probably out of nitrous and sucks at driving
