Default is two power adders to much?

ok so me and a friend are haveing a debate. i think if you have a blower you shouldnt also have nitrous. i know there are people out there that dont like either and people that like one or the other like my self. my friends says it doesnt matter i say pick one not both. i know there are plenty of people that can run both because of good builds and safe tunes this is just my opinion. so what do you gusy think?

if i could afford a nitrous kit and a retune id spray a 50-75 shot on my motor thats currently making over 600rwhp via twin turbos

see i just think instead of adding a 50 shot why not just step up the boost a lil more or more agreaaives cam. just not a fan of both combos. i feel its like oh you had to use two power adders to beat me. but if its something like meth or cyro. then i understand that combo with boost or nitrous.

I have both. I'm running the Kenne Bell 2.1 at about it's maximum reliable limit of 16psi of boost, on a conservative tune pulling 17 degrees of timining at wot on 93 octane pump gas. This setup puts down about 530whp, and is pretty much all that's needed to lay the smack down on just about anything that pulls up next to me on the street.

In reserve, and to keep the IAT's down in the summertime, I also have a 100 shot Nitrous Express system. When both power adders are being used, the car puts down mid 600's rear wheel horsepower, and is a real handful to keep on the road!

mach1 is correct, sc and turbos dont have an unlimited range of efficiency. at some point, more boost means bigger parts and thats more expensive then a nitrous kit. plus the cooling effects of the nitrous does wonders for a boosted motor

thats like complaining you lost to me because i have a stroker AND turbos. wont get any sympathy from me, just a good chuckle. winning is winning

a small shot of nitrous, 35-50 will be SAFER on a blower than not having it.

nitrous runs about -500* so it cools down the blower charge and negates the possible lean condition

it also acts like twice as much because it cools down and gains some of the HP lost from heat

ive never owned a blower...but if i did...id probably stick with about 10 lbs boost, and then spray 100 on that
