Default Have to get mid pipe

I have an 03 gt i was wondering if i buy headers for it do i have to buy an h-pipe or x-pipe to make it fit or can i get them separately at different times.....simple question but i would like to know before i tear into this

If you buy long tubes which are the most beneficial in HP gains you will have to buy a shorty mid pipe. Also, whichever brand you buy, make sure they are all the same brand due to fitment issues between differing brands. If you buy shorties which are more about looks, you will not need to buy a new mid pipe. Have you don't this before? I'm asking because its a suck job

Thanks i usually try to get the same brands. I have never done this before but i have nothing but time since its up for the winter......i have done other suck jobs before like a heater core i will figure it out i just usually take 13 extra unneeded steps but i like figuring this stuff out for future projects

Have a hoist, made it so much easier to take the manifolds off, and putting my headers on. PB BLASTER or CLP helped with the rust. The collector nuts were the worst. I had my trans out too, so nothing was really in the way.

Have fun with those top two bell housing bolts! Needed like three 10" extensions to reach the top two.
