Cool Exhaust fun

Okay... So I'm new to the 5.0 world, because i have recently sold my 1996 GT vert.. I just bought a 1994 GT, it's mechanically sound, no problems except a few cosmetic issues. The BIGGEST thing is the exhaust.. It has Headers, mid-pipes, but nothing from the cats back.. So i'm looking online and I'm torn between Dumped exhaust and the classic Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust... I love the look of the dumped but i also love the sound of the American Thunder. Any advice on which may be a better choice?

Thanks for the Help,

Brad Alexander.

Could always youtube up a bunch of exhaust systems. That's how I ended up finding Stainless Works Exhaust. Would of gone the flowmaster route since that's what I have on my Mach1.

Dumped pipes are cool, but the good sound from a set of axlebacks can't be beat. I'm running the Pypes pype bombs and love them! They have a great sound and still roar when you get on it.

I had the same setup as you. It was just to loud to me. But everybody else loved the way my car sound. I think ive had just about every setup on a mustang.

flowmaster 40's o/r h pipe. btw sorry about the shaky camera had my 8 year old recording.

muffler delete o/r h pipe

hopefully this can give you an idea between the flowmaster and muffler delete. Im running macs now they sound the best too me.
