Default **1999 Cobra or Souped Gt**

I am defenitly goin to get a mustang, now i come to the delemma should i spend all my cash on a 99 cobra and have nothing left to soup it up or should i buy a 99 GT and still have a couple thousand to soup. From what i understand the Cobra had 60 more hp but also weights more. The 0-60 and 1/4 mile times are also very close, (maybe 2thenth's different) Im lookin for the fastest car for the money i got.
Any suggestions are really appreciated
Rich

What you need to do is accept the fact that no matter what you get, you will modify it. You may have to wait a while if you get the cobra, but you are starting with a better foundation. If I had the choice, I woulddefinitely go with the cobra. Better to start with a 4 valve motor, independent rear suspension, and big brakes. Just my humble opinion...</P><edited><editID>Brian18034</editID><editDate>38010.6429398148</editDate></edited>
