INSTALLED THE MAGNAFLOWS
Well, I gotta say the Magnaflows sound excellent with my BBK o/r xpipe! I finally made the switch from flowmaster. I have a fairly big leak at the xpipe/header connection, and was wondering if some high temp form-a-seal would stop this.. Or should I just weld the bit(hes?? Any help is appreciated!</P>

I don't see why you would have a leak if you didn't before man!!! Try bolting it back up again and see what happens...If you don't plan on doing exhaust work (hacking up your exhaust sucks and looks awful), then I'd consider welding...until then I would do everything possible to avoid it!! <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

I think something will make it stop. Welding is fairly permanent, and I don't really wanna screw it up and keep me from bolting my h back on if a warranty problem happened.<IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0"> </P>
edit... And it did have a leak before, never got around to getting it checked. Now that I can hear myself talk again without the flowmasters, I realized how bad the leak really was..</P><edited><editID>redneck101</editID><editDate>38027.5465509259</editDate></edited>

Yep...I'd try bolting everything back up again, try tightening the side that leaks first. Strange things happen after exhaust pipes have been through several cycles of heat. <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

If it is the passanger side leaking you are probably missing the metal gasket. Give a look for it. That is a common occurance when people change the mid pipes. If you need to get one the ford dealership is the only place to get it and they may say that there is no gasket for the exhaust. Have them check. My shop was suprised to learn they did. LOL!!
