in cali i heard that they have troopers that do random checks on the highways with their own sniffers that point out certain cars.

I live in cali and heard the same thing. I decided to take the risk and ran o/r pipes... No sniffer caught me for a few months and ive never heard a true story about them. I know they have the "power" to pull you over on suspicion of a gross poluter and check but i don't really know.

i doubt they really do any random checks... ive been driving "ticket getters" and pumped up cars all my life here and never been botherd...

i do get alot of poping noise when i decel... i actuly like the sound, could anything bad come of it? i got straight pipe 2 and a half inch, if i went to 3 inch, would it be any deeper or louder?</P>
