I'll try this here
1990 chevrolet 454 SS for sale. 150,000 miles on the truck, 1000 miles on fresh rebuilt engine. Paint is about 2 years old, interior is in great shape, very little wear, still has factory floor mats.
The engine was rebuilt the first of april this year with new .040 over sealed power flat-top pistons, moly rings, ARP rod bolts, reconditioned rods, .010-.010 fresh grind on the crank, clevite 77 rod and main bearings, new chrome oil pan and timeing cover, melling hv oil pump, melling timing chain (double roller), new performance ballancer, new ballancer bolt, new bolt-locker head bolts, new 5/16 pushrods, new valve-springs, flamed aluminum valvecovers, rebuilt distributor, edelbrock performer RPM intake, 1 year old Holley 750 Double pumper mechanicle secondaries, 5 inch K&N filter (nockoff), MSD 8.8 mm plug wires, accel super coil, 1 year old fan clutch, new radiator, rebuilt water pump, new gatorback belt, head casting numbers are 3975950, copperseal header gaskets, aluminum collector gaskets. Tires are a year old with some wear on the right rear tire. Truck has been lowered all the way around and has weld wheels on it. Has true dual exhaust with no emmisions to speak of. Rear bumper has been smoothed into the bed and looks nice. Has a reciever hitch under the bumper. Pioneer stereo is one year old, cp player. New headliner last year.
I am asking $7500 for the truck still. I paid 6500 for it last year and have put WAY more than the 1000 dollar difference in it.
That is all for now, there is more I am sure. I will post pics in a sec.
Thanks for looking
Randy

Man, I was right there with ya, untill I read that you ditched the EFI for a carb. I really like those trucks and wouldnt mind having one but it would have to be as close to original as possible for me though. Dont take me wrong, youve got a killer mod list and it IS nice.

I had a hard time finding the topic since it got moved. Anyways, nothin to be sorry about, whatever floats your boat is what matters. Like I said too, It is a super nice ride. I really love the Monte Carlo in your sig too. is it yours?? I had an 81 Landau that was getting the SS treatment with a new front cap and spoiler etc.. I ended up selling it before it was finished though. I would still like to have an SS Monte Carlo too. I think theyre really classy looking sports cars.

Nice choice with the TPI. [sm=icon_rock.gif] What kind of setup are you using? I have a setup off of an 87 IROC with an L-98. Thats what I was gonna put in my Monte Carlo sittin on top of an LT-1. Heres a good site for GM TPI stuff www.tpis.com They dont have ALOT of stuff, but they got some good stuff.

Thanks for the link. I am gunna stick a L-98 roller cam in my 305 HO and the TPI is from an 86 IROC with MAF. I'm gunna keep the MAF for now and see how I like the L-98 cam with this engine. I have been told by a few that this cam would work well in my SS because I have already opened up the exhaust with flowtech ceramic coated full length headers with true duals, no cats, and flows with 2.5 in tails. The 305 only has about 30,000 miles on the reman, then again, I do have an 89 350 in the shop to warm over sometime.
