like the title says, im looking to trade my IRS on my cobra for a solid rear axle off a gt. i live about an hour west of chicago if that helps. its still on the car, i dont want to do anything until i know for sure someone is interested.

im not sure about this anymore, ive been doing a lot of research over the past week. it seems like its a big pain in the ***, you have to buy a bunch of parts to make the change, then put it in - gears, axles, various brackets, exhaust, then i have to install it. thanks for the offer guys. i honestly think the only way i would do it if i could just do an even swap, including all the parts. i dont know if thats fair or not, the mustang rear susp. is a lot more expensive than a gt rear susp. but i wouldnt blame anyone for not going for that.
