Good looking cars, as usual. Tough choice so I liked the multiple choice. Good luck to all.

Car was fine up until January 30th on my way home from school. It had just rained, the temp had dropped below 40 degrees, and I had summer tires. I had taken this roundabout hundreds of times over the years, but that night wasn't a good one. The back end got loose and I never could get it back under control. When I corrected it the car snapped back and shot the other way. Unfortunately for me in the other direction was a nice concrete wall.

So over the next 4 months it needed a full front rebuild. I did everything but weld on the new front end and paint the parts. I wasn't going to let this car be taken away from me, I was determined to have it fixed and have it come back better than before.
That's nice work. I love to see people turning their own wrenchs.

That's the only way to do it for me. I only let other people do it if I know for a fact that I can't do it, which in this case was replacing the front end with a new one off of a different car.

But I started my first restoration when I was 12(21 now), so I've had time to refine what I've learned. I'm hoping to soon start on a 1966 Chevy II SS really soon, and I'm currently on the hunt for my next personal project car/truck.

Thanks man! I tried for "761 MPH" but the state wouldn't approve it...I'm happy with the alternative
