So i hear alot of people are buying steeda strut tower braces to make the front of their suspention stiffer. my question is is it really worth it because normally to feel a difference in suspention it takes quite a bit of money

don't get those uber expensive strut tower bars,unless you really want to drastically improve the suspension of your car and do some auto cross or something of that nature. the least expensive one is still to expensive considering it only stiffens up the chassis marginally. i was a guinea pigfor a strutbar experiment for my old car. ihad an ebay knock off strut bar for a month and a name brand for a month. i felt no difference at all between the two.

On a Barrett-Jackson auction this weekend they unveiled a Shelby conv. it had a brace the same style as the Steeda. Now are they made of the same material... who knows. But the design is the same. I figure it's better than a single bar. So how much does the towers flex in the first place? Good question. I'm getting the Steeda when I can afford it. I figure why spend $50 on something that probably doesn't work, might as well spend the $175 for something that does work.

The towers are said to flex about2 inches under hard driving conditions....the Steeda strut tower brace should bring it down to around 1

If your gonna put on a tower brace to reduce flex, you should do the bottom too. Put on a K member brace as well. doesent make sense to me to do only one side top or bottom if "real" front chassis stiffness is your goal....

I like the Ford Racing bar, that I have on my 06. My only problem is the HOOD wants to fly like a bird at anything ove 90, and real bad at 167.... Don't ask, because I will not do it again !!!
