GT500 Brembos. Thanks to Dex

The FRPP GT500 brake kit with these rotors and calipers (pn M-2300-S) comes with new front caliper bolts, SS brake lines and new front and rear pads. Great bang for the buck in my opinion. The install on my car was also easy. Just make sure you get the brake hoses properly oriented.
The major issue with hese calipers is getting wheels to clear them. One way to know is if they say the wheel will fit a GT500 front then they will clear the brakes.
In addition to the brake upgrade I'm running Ferodo GS2500 pads front and Hawk HPS rear. Brake fluid is ATE Super blue. My car also has the Quantum front brake cooling kit.
On 6 track road course days last year there were absolutley no signs of fade and the car stopped stright and true.
Yes they also look good - especially as they are not that gaudy red

I'm running the 40mm offset Shelby Razors and it says that it will not clear the GT500 brakes, but what if I put in a small spacer just in the front to push the offset out slightly??? I'm running 255's up front and 275's out rear. I came across a good deal on GT500 take off's and I'm trying to make this work. Any suggestions?

I've been running this issue down with my wheels and I've found that H&R makes a nice wheel spacer that actually comes with longer studs so IMO it makes it safer than using the factory studs with just a spacer. I'm gonna try a 15mm spacer (part # 3065705) with my 40mm offset wheels and see if I can get the GT500 Brembos to work...

Not to hijack, but I have a question...
Should the OE 18in polished rims (from the 08 GT) fit the GT500 break kit, or you would need to order a new set of wheels?
EDIT: I believe these are it, not 100% sure though. They are already on the car, but thats the only one that matches.

There are not that that many wheels that clear the GT500 brakes. Mine, the Steeda Ultralite (PN 013-0000) fit fine and then the GT500 wheels are of course OK. If the wheels you want to use are not guaranteed to fit a GT500 then they won't work.
