Default Tein Coilover Installed on 2010 Photos

Here are some photo's of the car dropped and I am wanting to add the EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) but I had some questions. I am going to install the Controller (EDK04-K4469), Motor Kit (EDK05-10140), and Strut Kit (EDK06-K4474) but it will require a a slight fitment issue with the Rear EDFC Motor.

If you look at the last picture you will notice a Red Arrow pointing at some kind of Tab/Body Bracing. The EDFC mounts, or rather screws onto the top of the Piston Rod (Blue Arrow). When mounted there is a potential that the EDFC Motor will contact or impact the metal protrusion and cause damage to the motor. To easily remedy this you can either grind off the tab or bend it away from the motor. Has anyone here done this mod and can they comment on it? I do not have the tools so I am going to find a local shop who is going to need to do the install.

What exactly is different with the 2010 setup. I thought everything was exactly the same.

BTW the metal piece you are talking about. I was hesitant to install the motor mounts too because of that. I took a shot at it this weekend when i was hooking up the edfc.

Its SUPER EASY to take care of. Use pliers and just bend that flimsy piece of metal back a little bit. That will give it enough room to screw down the motors.

Ill see you guys there on saturday If i can make it up that early >.<
