Someone mentioned these to me on another thread.

Anyone using these tires? They are a TON cheaper than the G-Force series that I'm currently using at $380 buck each.... O.O (though I do really like the looks of tread-pattern on the G-Force, it's not worth the extra $$$)

They are the OEM tire on GT500s. That being said, I'm using them since I got a set of GT500 take off wheels on my car.

I like them, lots of grip, but they are HORRID in the cold, no grip at all. And as far as snow and ice? It's mindless suicide. I knew that when I bought them, and still had a hell of a time just getting my car back into the garage from in front of my house after I finished working on another car that was in the garage.

They wear surprisingly well, make quite a bit of smoke when you light them up too. All in all, I'd buy them again.

they're ok. mine didn't last too terribly long maybe like 12-15k miles and got pretty loud after a while. I like my hankook ventus v12's a lot better. they're quieter and grip better even with just 255's out back.

Next Question: Anyone know how wide of a tire can safely be put on 18x10s? I've currently got 285s, but would go a little wider is it's safe.

check tirerack.com or the tire manufacturers sites to see what the recommended wheel widths are for a specific tire size. It is the Rim Width Range in the link below

I'm using them for summer, street and track. Fairly good tire. Couldn't beat the price at Tire Rack. Quite a difference between the 220 wear rating and the 180. The 255s are $130 versus $308 and the 285s are $159 versus $409. Plan on stickier tires in the spring, just wanted the GT 500 look last summer as cheaply as I could.

Cheers.

Those are a heck of a lot cheaper than the Pirelli's on the Brembo and Boss Mustangs. Which is the better tire for handling in the dry, the Pirelli P Zero or Goodyear F1?

I have a set. They were adequate when the car was NA. After the supercharger was another story.

For the $ they are a good deal.

Fifth, You can run a 305 with a 10 inch rim, but I'd most stick with a 285 or 295

I've had a set on my car for about a year. Entirely happy with them, and they're wearing very well so far. They stink in cold conditions, but they're summer performance tires, so that's a given.
