I'm always hesitant to buy the first year of a re-model. I know the 2010 isn't entirely different but there are always a few shortcomings with the introduction of a completely new model. That's a small thing to worry about, especially since the car has warranty, but it could be a headache and keep you from dirving the new car!
what he is saying is just that the rear of the 2010 is a little more rounded (thus the g37 comparison) as opposed to the previous years...again its all about preference...both are great cars performance wise...allot of people will buy the 2010 and love them....but just as some termie owners HATE the look of the 07-09 shelby cobra..some 07-09 owners hate the look of the 2010...its personal opinions and that is all...not something to read too much into..or try and dispell with pics etc...
While the '10 may be more rounded in the rear as compared to the previous generation S197, it's still pretty squared off(compared to most EVERY modern sports car) and not at all worth of being compared to bubbly shaped Japanese sports cars. I just don't want to see this youtube like banter on our site, especially if it's targeting one of our own kind. Meaning, if you have a complaint atleast make it accurate. K?
Hi there - I had the choice between an '09 and '10 and I went with the '09 .... although it ultimately boils down to personal preference, I am partial to the '09. The performance differences between the '09 and '10 can be matched for relatively little $$$ - the only difference for me between the two is that I think the '10 interior is a bit classier ....
Good luck with your decision - you really can't make a bad one !!
just due to the refinement of the 2010..that is where i would go. For those that say who needs refinement it's all about power...well, I say give me BOTH

I'll be completely honest, if I could have afforded a 2010 GT500 I would have bought one in a heartbeat because I think they look freakin awesome! When I questioned what kind of deal I could get, they laughed and said that it would be awhile before they would even have that discussion. So I decided to just buy the 2008 GT500 Convertible that I now own for almost $15K under MSRP...LOL!!

The reviews of the 2010's have been strong - KR motor, much nicer interior, better handling. The exterior looks are a close call in my opinion. I would think that you can get a better deal now on the 2007-2009's now.
