GT500 supercharger - how to silence the noice
I thinking of buying a 2007-2009 Shelby Gt500, but I think the supercharger is a little loud, is there a way you can silence it a little down, im just interested in the cool V8 sound, not some wining sound.
Another thing if I wanted to change the supercharger with a kennabell for a little more HP, what would I get for a used supercharger.
ohh where is the best place to search for a shelby in USA online

Sure, you can make it silent, it's actually a pretty easy process.
1) Pop the hood.
2) Disconnect the battery.
3) Take off the supercharger and give it to me.
No more supercharger whine! Well, for you, at least.

most people buy gt500s for the whine...
but you could put dynamat and hushmat material on the firewall and it will quiet it down significantly
used superchargers dont really sell at all...maybe $500 if anything, you can't put them on any other vehicles.
And the best place I've seen to look is ebay

I knew I would get some great comments for this question, now I will say this, never been inside the shelby yet, so I can only say what I have heard from the outside, its just Im afraid it will mess up the great v8 sound.

Personally i think you will get used to the sound after having it a while. My Saleen has exhaust systems and it can be really loud but now a days i really cant tell. gl with ur choice.

The sound of the SC is sweeet, but it only occurs while it creates boost when you apply hard throttle. You won't hear it during normal driving.
