Question Flywheel/Clutch TSB and damaged transmission question

I heard if your shifting is getting a little notchy that it meant you had the flywheel tsb and it was affecting the transmission.

Is it normal for second gear to be a little harder to put into gear?
Like a bit more of a catch before it goes in entirely?

It's not hard to put into gear but it has a extra bit of a catch point
to slide all the way into second.
I don't have anything else happening.
To be honest it was like this every since we bought it 7 mo. ago.

We have only put 2k mi. on it but I was wondering if there was transmission problems would
it have gotten worse by 2k mi. more of driving?
There are no other symptoms.

Thanks!

Like a whisper of a eeeeeerrr. Just a whisper.

Is this normal?
Reason I'm asking is they said if it grinds that is the test that proves the tranny's synros are messed up from the TSB warped flywheel.

Just trying to cover some stuff folks!

Thanks!
Step back from the ledge Smoke!! My Snake is the same as yours in second gear..just the way they are...I have found as the tranny warms up it shifts smoother to second...I have found that waiting a couple of seconds after depressing the clutch before shifting into second makes it much smoother when it is cold...the Snake and my 06 GT pretty much feel the same shifting to second...probably just the way Tremac's are...

Just in second? As in second is a little more than others?

Has anyone ever notice for some reason to me it seems like second is not
DIRECTLY below first. Maybe thats because of that little more notch it has.
Again the other gears I dont have this at all. And second is TINY (compared to a MGW set at 4 that is)

BTW.. notchy is normal?
My other gears go in as easy as butter.
Are you sure you are not thinking about when a short throw shifter is installed?

But does it still have a slight notch compared to the other gears even when warm?
Or does it smooth out ENTIRELY so its just like the others?

No hesitation here, but it is notchy from day one, nothing to worry about!
