The GT500's hold their value pretty well.
?? Not so much for my 2 cents worth ! Like you said, a lot of guys bought the 500s as third cars and are looking to get out of them, and are doing so at a lot less than what I think they are "worth".
They are bad *** rides but try buying any other low mileage, kick @$$ cars for that far below what they paid for them.
My bet is that you couldn't pick up a Porshe, 'Vette, or any other psuedo-super car for anywhere near what you can get a used GT500 for.
'Course, you'd have to fly and pick them up and drive them back, but the prices that these cars are going for is a steal in my book.

It was priced high to begin with... Probably was worth about $35-$36ish... The reason they went so quick is because it had been sitting there for about 60 days and shortly after purchasing it, it needed the clutch TSB performed. But everything was good after that. I would look for low $30k's. A buddy of mine picked up an 08 with 12k miles for $31k.
