might rub on the rear fender when lowered
2008 shelby gt500..... so i recently purchase a new set of rims and they are 20x9 front and 20x10 rear wrap in toyo proxes 4 255/35/20 front and 295/30/20 rear, offsets are 32 mm front and 27 mm rear. i want to lower it the fronts seems to clear the fender just fine but the rear tires are kinda sticking out about half an inch. what should i do? because i was thinking about running a 315/30/20 in the rear sometimes in the near future but if the 295 won't clear then a 315 would definitely be too wide. anyone knows the answer to my situation? thanks =)

Keith, its not you might, but you will for sure rub.
I think we maxed out my rear offset to 30mm with Stance/Vertini when we were coming up with a size and Im running 285/30/20. You may be able to shave off 2-3 mm spacing safely off the back to get more clearance and you could go to 275/35/20 rears.
Look at the rear shot. Its right on the fender with 285 30
but with 275 35 it was perfect

you could roll/pull your fenders, or you could run a superrrr stiff suspension set up with no suspension travel : P
I'm running 20x10 +35 offset rear wheels with 285/30 tires - will be interesting to see how much I can lower my car before I rub.

You should be ok with 35 offset out back as long as you dont slam it
