As our build progresses, we wanted to show the community the massive potential that this car possesses with just simple bolt-ons. Most of you may be aware already, but if not, now is the time to get familiar.

With just a few easy bolt ons, you can really awaken the beast that is the 2013 GT500. We started with the JLT 2010-2013 Shelby GT500 123mm Plastic Big Air Intake Kit, the Lethal Performance 2013 GT500 3" Offroad X-pipe, and a Lund Racing Custom Tuned SCT X3 Handheld Programmer. When it came to the throttle body, we used both the Whipple Shelby GT500 "Big Bore" Mono Blade Throttle Body (Black), and the Ford Racing Super Cobra Jet Oval Throttle Body.

Check out how all of the bolt on's stacked up on the dyno!

We've even made it easy for you. When you're browsing through Lethal Performance.com we have created a few power packages that will help you narrow down your power goal. Here's a couple of them for you to take a look at:

Features:
-Ford Racing Dual 65mm Cobra Jet Throttle Body (Upgrade to FRPP Super Cobra Jet Monoblade available)
-SCT Xcal 3 Programmer

Lethal Performance 2013 Shelby GT500 700 rwhp Power Pack

After we got a good idea of what we were dealing with, we added American Racing longtube headers and a Nitrous ProFlo Nitrous Kit. Take a look at both of them here:

American Racing Long Tube Headers and Midpipes

Nitrous Pro-Flow GT500 Direct Fit EFI Wet Nitrous System (50-150hp Adjustable)

With all said and done, power spiked up to over 800 RWHP on spray!

What's next?......

Did you blow the motor? If not, then can I have it? I'll be glad to come and pick it up for free.

What the! You guys are nuts. You should never leave that hood prop thingy on after you've installed hood struts!

We didn't blow the motor but did have an issue with the key way on the crank. Rather than just fix the crank we figured we'd build it so we can turn it WAY up without having to worry about the rods/pistons getting damaged.

Sorry about that. I'll make sure to remove it once we install the built motor.
