85-2097 from Revell. aka Revell Street Burner GT500 (https://www.google.com/#q=revell+street+burner+gt500) If you pick it up, there's some deficiencies in the labeling for where the decals are being used and then make sure that you are using the right parts. I believe what they do is take a GT kit, replace some parts outright and then supplement others. For example, there are 6 brake rotors and calipers. I didnt realize it until later so now I've prepped and painted the last 2 which are the ones for the front. Luckily they include 4 brembo decals so it wont be a problem because there's no brembo markings on the rear calipers on my car.

Too bad they don't make an 07-09 CS and a 2010 CS so that I could take the wheels from it. Bummer

Ok, so I can get the Shelby GT, then pick up the normal GT from Amazon by Revell just to get the hood, found
The only thing I would be missing are the wheels, I must keep searching.
See what ya started?

There's definitely an aftermarket for model car parts. The problem is the complete lack of anything for more modern vehicles. I'd say as far as models go, Revell has done a decent job with this one and I'd give it a 6/10. One thing that they did wrong which I don't know of any way to correct is just the tires. The originals are Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars and they are staggered. This kit is not staggered and there is no branding at all on them. That's probably because of licensing, but still...it sucks.
I've got a highly detailed FineMolds millenium falcon (1:72) that I've thrown a jackson at just for a little lighting and higher detailed cockpit. It can be lucrative, but it's a niche market. As far as how much you make on the part though, your margin in materials is vastly greater then a regular sized part, so yeah if you want some beta'ing going on, shoot me a PM.
I've considered a 3d scanner and printer myself but the prices are still just a touch too high for something that I don't do professionally.

Few more pics to feed ya'll. The Tamiya semi gloss black paint sucks, but it's what I've got to work with. Takes about 3 coats to start getting to the point where it's getting good coverage. Of course, you run the risk with so many coats of a shaky hand getting the better of you which you can see on one of the seats. The red paint was almost 5 coats to get it where it is now, so that's a mistake I'll live with because I know it will never fully cover the black. Progress is slow, but works been busy, so I squeeze in a little here and there were I can.
