Until I see the dyno sheet I will always be skeptical. I remember being told something similar when the S281 was being released. If its true thats awesome and I can't wait to see what the bigger motors can do.

Well with the oil crisis the way it is and gas prices seemingly never coming back down, I wouldn't be suprised if we see the government step in again like the HP crunch back in the 70's....quite possible we're seeing manufacturers pull out all the stops to eclipse 600/700hp just before they are squashed back down to 150hp with a mandated ~30 mpg average [:@]

I know I have read a couple of articles where chevy is pulling all the stops since for 2020 the vette will be in name only thanks to the gas mileage car will have to have.
