Has anyone done any type of fog lights on the 05's and up? I've been thinking about doing something and wanted to check out some pics

hmmm id be interested...are you talking the lower valance? or cutting into the saleen grill...cause cutting would be a bad call IMO

No way I would hack up the grill, besides - fog lights belong down low to do their intended job. The Mustang GT fog lights are more about looks than function since they are on the same plane as the headlights [&:]

I had a plan for this a couple years ago but just never did it -still might some day. I even had a photo shop done that actually looked good (don't ask me to find the picture) My plan was/is to fab up a mounting bracket similar Craigs front license plate bracket that mounts up under the front bumper and extends down with a mounting rail in the middle of the lower opening, and mount two round fogs from a GT down there eleanor style.

If you were to mount aftermarket fogs behind one of the outer two openings I think you would impact their dispersion pattern, as they are designed to project wide and being behind those openings would block the width of the beam....so they would need to be out and flush with the fascia.

ive got a pic of one with fog lights in the grille. it look bad imo. i will try to post it up when i get home.

Thanks guys. I was thinking lower grille in the middle opening, eleanor style. The only thing is, the Saleen has a style of it's own so I'm not too sure how they will look... But yea, that is the only spot I had planned them for if I do it. I'm also curious as to how it will affect the intercooler for the S/C if at all?

The Saleen kit is just all around beautiful IMO. The ONLY thing I would have done differently are the weak little fogs. I hope one of you guys can fab something innovative on there and show us all! Good idea Philip

Thanks man but I'm sure I wasn't the first to think of it. Once I get everything else out of the way I'll have to try something out.

And I'm guessing you didn't get my PM once again? lol Anyways give me the prices on all three of those LCAs you showed me and which ones would be best for my setup. Thanks Mickey
