Default roush 427R is also 0% financing

i am thinking about trading in my 07 gt and go for the roush 427R. it is also vista blue with white stripe. what is the best hop-up kit for this car? it probably has 3.31 gears so a change the would be immediate. please let me know your honest thoughts.

If you can make the change to the 427R you won't regret it. I have an 07 - 427r and it is awsome. As far as hopping it up, yes you can, but with approx 450 HP there is not much need. Mine came with 3.55 gears. Not sure if they have changed from that. Acceleration is unbelieveable. Can't believe people actually go to 4.11 gears. Pretty much does away with 1st gear.

All of the Roush cars are rare in my opinion. You would really have something special.

First question: 1. How old are you? Second question: Do you own a house? If your answers are under 30 and no, forget it. Save you money and do something responsible with it. You already have a pretty nice car and this market sucks right now for performance vehicles. Also, can I assume you financed the GT. if so, you will lose money on the trade and then you plan on getting a loan for a 45,000 car with no money down (assumption) and probably will finance it for 84 months. So you have at least a 650/mo. payment (at 6% interest) and over those 7 years you will pay more than 10,000 in interest for a car that will depreciate 60-70% in the first 4 years. Not trying to be rude, but that doesn't make much financial sense. Just my .02 cents. And if none of the above applies to you. Forget I said anything.

Nothing wrong with doing the above. You already have a good platform to build off of. Supercharge it and throw a body kit of your liking on it. Most of what I said doesn't really apply to you, but thank you for considering it. If I didn't have any reservations against financing cars or a wife, I would probably finance myself right into bankruptcy with all the cars I want. However, saving up for 4-5 years and paying cash has done me wonders. The only way I would finance a car is to put at least 50% down and have payments no longer than 3 years. I think that's the smartest way to do it if you have to finance. I don't like stealerships either. If you want a Roush, check ebay. I know you can buy some new 07 that have never been titled for around 35K and even some with less than 5,000 miles. Deals can be had right now, but you can save some money by personalizing your car the way you want and then enjoy the heck out of it. Good luck with whatever you decide.

ford is offering 0% financing for 60 months thats the only way i am considering it. i have an 827 credit rate and can get whatever i want but cars lose there value so fast. i can buy a gt500 with cash right now if i would choose but thats my savings. plus most of my friends are not gear heads!!!

DON'T get one now, less than a year from now, you'll be able to order the new body style.

I agree. Use the 07 and build it up.
