Default Tuning needed?

Alright so I just got around to ordering my 90mm MAF. Finally. Man o man. LFP is selling them 55% off, $99. Good deal I thought. Anyway, After installing that, and the RIPP kit from Chicane, I will need a tune correcto? Can that tune be done from an SCT or Diablo, or do I have to take it to a tune shop which i am not wanting to pay the big bucks for)

Thanks again in advance for any suggestions,

Will I also need to tune it after a TB?

Yes...you'll need a custom tune and you'll need to purchase an SCT tuner and get a shop to tune it. I wouldn't recommend trying to do it yourself as the consequences could be bad (running too rich or too lean can cost you BIG bucks later on).

As for the throttle body....you don't necessarily have to retune with the new TB, but I would recommend just getting all 3 put on at the same time and then tuning it once. I had my car tuned after the 66mm pulley and later I put on an accufab 75mm TB. When i put the throttle body on, though....the car experienced a little hesitation sometimes. Maybe it was because of an increase in air flowing through the TB that the car didn't know what to do with.

You have the series II supercharger I assume?

Yeah I do. How much is tuning, on average, after you buy the tuner?

I'd call SCT and have them recommend a tuner in your area. Good tuners make all the difference. Don't go cheap when it comes to finding one....it's worth it to keep your car's A/F ratio safe.
