Default Tork Tech intake on the way

So I figure I'll go ahead and spoil it. I'm trying out a new intake from TorkTech that bolts directly up to the series II supercharger.

What I'm getting:

-New intake plenum that greatly expands the amount of air that can be moved into the supercharger.

-Coverts the car into a cobra setup and uses a single blade oval throttle body

-nice big air intake pipe and air filter

-heat shield

-90mm mass air flow sensor

according to claims....it should add around 30rwhp (a lot of it due to the huge intake plenum and redesign).

I'll post pictures of everything when I get it.

I'm looking to pair it up with the chicane intercooler upgrade and figure to install it sometime around feb/march. Why then? Check the other thread about the chicane intercooler for the reason!

*EDIT*- See Results on this thread:

What's wrong with the stock cobra intercooler setup? I've seen what's wrong with the stock Saleen setup.

Nothing wrong with the stock cobra intercooler setup.

I'm not getting the whole torktech setup that converts you to the M112, I'm just getting the intake side (which also happens to bolt up to an M90). That leaves me with my stock M90 supercharger with the saleen intercooler that has gaps in it.

Hence the chicane intercooler upgrade.

TorkTech doesn't advertise the kit I'm getting.....

I'll post dyno sheets when it's done. I should be somewhere close to my target of 390-400rwhp....but you never know until you try!

The guy on there had some car problems and tuner problems and so he never gave a good report on what happened.

I plan on posting an ACCURATE look at how well it works. I have the previous dyno run datalogged. Since then I'll have done the TorkTech Kit, the Chicane Intercooler, and the LFP supertank and Heat Exchanger.

The torktech kit is an ENTIRE replacement of the intake side....not just the end of it. So it's like night and day compared to the JLT.

Here's a picture of the intake plenum portion that connects to the supercharger (a part that isn't replaced with JLT's kit). This is the stock kit vs. tork tech. Not only is the plenum a lot larger...but the bend in the elbow is a lot less sharp. (I stole the picture from the stangnet thread)

I should get the kit somewhere around Dec. 21st. I'll post pictures and keep updated on progress.

Make sure to retune, and not just slap it on.

Default Tork Tech kit

I was wondering if this would work on the series IV?
