That is a pretty big number for an otherwise stock car. That thing might get to 550 rwhp with a stick, exhaust work etc. 1/4 mile timeslips, roadcourse timeslips will tell the tale.

Actually that makes it no faster than a mustang GT with the Saleen supercharger and JDM 500 hp crank upgrade based on an accurate weight vs acceleration calculation. The Camaro is a very heavy car.
Both are stock internal cars.
The problem is that at 499RWHP the camaro is probably not maxed out at 500 crank the Saleen is.
That math is pretty interesting we get Mustang crank = Camaro RWHP = similar acceleration.

Tip of the Month, October: Do not buy the $730 Roush Exhaust which a Mangnaflow rep says costs to $117 make (polished, all ss), buy the $170 Roush Exhaust Tips estimated to cost $46 to make and weld them to another company's muffler. This also lets you choose how your car sounds.

^Also they have the 1200+ hp 6060 transmission and it only cost $30,000.
Normally I'd include such facts in a joke. Unfortunately it looks like chevy has a winner.

I have seen a few of these cars around town and honestly do not like them. It looks alot like the Dodge Challenger to me. I would like to get in one and see if the inside is any better quality than a Ford though..
