Default Farewell my peeps!

It has been a nice year and a half, but I am saying goodbye to the Saleen. She started out at such a wonder, hit some rough points (previous owner wasn't as conservative as he came off as), and we will part ways on a good note. I will include some pictures of her so you can all get a look before she leaves in a few hours. I sold her for $18,500 out the door, cash, completely stock.

The buyer does not like the Saleen rims (he's a bit young), and so he wants me to switch the black FR500's on it after he buys it, so if any of you are looking for 4 saleen wheels (plus a fifth one with no center cap on 275/35/18) just shoot me a PM. I am not even sure what I would ask for them. They can be a nice second set or whatever. 2 or 3 out of the 5 are in perfectly fine condition, while the other 2 had some faulty chrome and they chipped a bit. Not noticeable unless you get up close to them.

Anyway, please enjoy the pictuers. I will miss her.

But on a side note...
look for me in the termi forums, pickin up the new baby next week.
Choosing between an 03/21k miles/ KB/ maroon/dark red/ for $23,500. or 04/ 31k miles/stock with full exhaust and intake/ black/ for $21,000. Any thoughts?

I'd go with the 03 with the KB! My dream car.

Definitely go for the 04...first of all, you know it was not beaten as hard as the KB termi (why else would you put a KB on a termi?), secondly, it is black, thirdly, you can choose to modify it as you choose

I agree with both of you. The owner of the KB is a great friend of mine. He just got married and is having a baby so unfortunately he must get rid of it. I know he had fun with it, abused it.... I don't really think so... but then again, you never know.

Mickey, the 04 is GORGEOUS. It has farely low miles still and is in great condition for what he is asking. And I agree with doing my own things to it, I need to feel like I personalized it a bit.

P.S. When did you black out the beast? Wasn't it Barricade-like before?!

Very true! Valid point...

And yes, to answer your question the best I can, I lost complete trust in her. She blew two spark plugs at two separate times (destroying one fuel rail) and hitting my trunk on the other one. I had to get heli's in both of them, about 1500 dollars later, I took a step back and went over my car in my head. I had done nothing to this car. I am talking like, an X pipe... with 55,000 miles, and two spark plugs blow? The spark plugs mangled the threads in the head so bad the first time that I was contemplating new heads, but at that point why not just fix and sell and experience something new ya know?

It is kind of like having that phobia of being sick all the time, even when the car ran fine, every sound and clunk and loose bolt or tired shock bothered the **** out of me. I thought she was falling apart! And everyone knows when the trust is gone, the relationship is over...

So I figure, if I can get 23k with everything, and can pay outright for a termi, I should.. Just watch out for the head tick issue haha
