Default 05 roush stage1

I just purchased a 05 roush stage1. i am looking into supercharger kits and dont know if i am wanting to go with the roots type roush, or the vortech centrifugal type. I am leaning more towards the vortech due to the fact it comes with new fuel pump, injectors, and a tuner also it is intercooled. the roush kit has a tuner and says its intercooled but i dont know anyone out there who has one i can go look at. Just wanted to post something up in here and wanted you guys to voice your opinion. Thanks

Most Roush owners will tell you they love their Roush-Charger set ups. They come intercooled and as full set ups just like the centri blower packages out there.

Pick a blower that fits your driving style and budget.

Keep it all Roush. Go with the roots-type. Enjoy your Stage 1!

If it is for the street, I would definitly stay with the positive displacment unit, whether it be Roush, Saleen, KB or a Tork Tech.

They are spendy, but all inclusive. You have a lot of R/D behind it, and a very well laid out set up. Check with Stage3motorsports.com to see if they have any.

Keep your eye on eby. You can find them cheaper from time to time.

lookin on stage3motorsports.com price is a lot better there. My last question is, How can get to around 500 hp on a stock block i know the roushcharger will put me at 435, i was looking into pulleys and different intake setups? Is 500 asking a little bit to much?

Here is the M90 Roushcharger for $4714. Good luck with your decision.

Or you can go with Roush's TVS supercharger. It's far superior to their M90 unit. You'll probably need different pulleys, though, as the ones that come from Roush put you at about 14-15 pounds of boost, if I'm not mistaken.
