exhaust note SC vs Extreme
#2
If memory serves me correctly, the muffler cases for the Extreme were slightly smaller than the S281 & S281 S/C.
I think this was found when someone tried to mount the rear CF defuser to a non-E car. The turn-down exhaust ports of a non-E cat-back did not line up with the holes in the panel.

they have the exact same exhaust note...if the s/c car were pushing as much boost with an additional 130+ horsepower, it would sound just about the same as an extreme...i know my car sounded different while keeping the same exhaust once I put my supercharger on...just much more air leaving the exhaust
