Central Louisiana Region SCCA Autocross - Two Day Event
Hey Everyone,
New to the board but liking it so far. Didn't intend for my first post to be about an event, but we are trying to get more Stangs representing at our venue.
Central Louisiana Region of SCCA is teaming up with the Delta Region of SCCA in New Orleans to sponsor a two day autocross event! Saturday December 12th will be at the State Police Emergency Vehicle Operations Center in Baker, Louisiana. This site features a 600'x450' asphalt tarmac with stadium lighting and awesome facilities. The courses we do out there are fun, fast, and challenging. You can see some video highlights of this site and promotion at:

Sunday December 13, 2009 will be at Zephyrs Baseball Stadium in New Orleans, LA. This site features a comparable surface to EVO but I am unsure of the size. Its almost as large as the EVO site above though. Delta Region is known for making awesome courses that challenge the driver and bring the speed!
If you have never autocrossed before or just been out of it for awhile, its a great time to get acquainted with it. You can get more details at:

Well the Saturday event has been called due the imminent threat of rain and the fact that we have not had enough preregistered entries. We are taking this and using it as fuel for the January event that will start 2010 off with a bang! Anybody who would like to attend the NOLA event, PM me or go to http://autoxforum.com and scroll down to the Louisiana forum/Delta region. They have thread going about the event there too.
If you would like to come and preregister for the event, that can be done at http://dlbracing.com. Just drop the calendar box down and choose Delta Region SCCA.
Hope see some MF peeps out there.
